About

This blog started out as an experiment, basically an excuse to learn about web publishing as well as a way to share my photography with friends.  I dabbled with the blog, and had a few dedicated readers, but my blog really was just another web page out on the internet that no one reads.  In August of 2007, I learned the true potential of a blog, as my family was involved in a serious car accident while on our way to a vacation.  Using the blog I was able to share information with all of our concerned friends and family quickly and easily.  I also found that writing the updates let me work through my feelings and allowed me to cope with all that was going on.

About me:  A married guy with a wonderful wife (Leah) and an awesome little boy (Wes.)  I silversmith, do photography and enjoy the outdoors.  Since Wes was born, I haven’t done as much of my hobbies as I would have liked as I have been busy trying to be a great dad!  I think the change in the blog reflects my new focus, as you will see lots of Wes on here…

Thanks for reading,

Jay
